Hi there! I’m Lotta — a doctor, PhD student, photographer, and adventure traveler.

I was born and raised in Finland and later moved to Sweden to pursue my medical career. While in medical school, I discovered my other passion: exploring the world’s most remote places and challenging myself through ultrarunning in diverse climates — all while studying full-time!

Today, I strive to do it all: chasing my dream career as a doctor and researcher, while discovering this incredible world through backpacking, adventure travel, and capturing moments with my camera.

On this blog, I share stories, photos, and reflections from my journeys — from mountains and deserts to oceans and vibrant cultures. My hope is to inspire you to explore, take risks, and experience the world in a meaningful way.
